Wild About Plants offers in person or virtual workshops and presentations by special request (preference given to Indigenous communities and organizations).   
We can’t wait to share our love of plants with you! We can work together to develop workshops tailored to your community’s interests and the seasonal availability of plants. Here are some workshops we’ve provided in the past.

Join Land Apothecary and Wild About Plants for a winter workshop on beautiful Quw’utsun territory (in Shawnigan Lake).  Participants will learn how to make cold process soap through a fun and interactive demonstration session & soothing bath salts for tired sore muscles.  Supplies will include high quality ingredients & essential oils as well as wildcrafted plants!  Teachings will be shared on materials and plants used during the soap making  process and the therapeutic benefits of bath salts!  
Each participant will leave with 2 homemade bars of soap and a lovely jar of bath salts as gifts so you can practice some self care when you return home.  Instructional handouts and a supply list will also be provided.

Workshop Rates

Please note that all workshops are meant to be accessible and affordable for community, therefore prices can be negotiated per organization.  Cost of supplies for workshops are not as flexible and subject to availability of the sustainably harvested or home grown medicines used for education. 

Workshop Rates for community, organizations or events:  
 Full Day Workshop                             $  1,000 - 1,400
 Half Day Workshop                           $   500 - 750                 
 Table Hosting ½ Day                          $   300 - 500
 Table Hosting Full Day                     $   500  - 750

Seasonal Workshop at the Sanctuary: (these will be announced through email & social media)    
 Individual 1 Day Workshop             $175 - 200 
 Individual 2 Day Workshop             $350  

Presentations (virtual or in person)            
Presentations range from $300 - $1,000 depending on request and preparation time.  

All workshop rates include pre-workshop preparation and hands on instruction/learning time during the workshop.  
 
Workshop Prices may vary depending on supplies and number of instructors.
